Vzzz's Caribbean Catering

Absolutely incredible experience. Vzzz’s Caribbean Catering is a small, black woman-owned business and their new location here at Westdale is a must-try. I’ve never had Caribbean food quite like it—you can taste the hard work and passion Veenece puts into every dish. I had the pleasure of seeing her cook and trying the Baddish, their signature jerk chicken mac and cheese. It was a huge portion and the chicken was insanely flavourful (and I’m not normally a mac and cheese lover)! The garlic shrimp on top was juicy and paired perfectly with her house-made cajun butter sauce. Next, the fried jerk chicken and plantain burger was a stand-out to me. This novel combination for me was so delicious, I’m already craving it! The chicken was huge and well-seasoned, the plantains added a unique and slightly sweet touch, and the eggs, hummus, and shrimp married all the flavours and textures together.
